Music producers Brandy Knight and Thomas Steinhauer founded Sounds Like Romance Productions in 2001 as a
live show and recording project. The live performance duo in a keyboard based show with 6-piece band sound
complete with powerful emotive vocals, pianos, strings, guitars, horn sections and rythm/percussion. Utilizing
state-of-the-art digital drums, stereo sound creates an amazing ambience for the audience. All shows are
performed live and spontaneously without the use of pre-recorded tracks. Powerful, emotive vocals and exclusive
repetoire of original and cover material make any live performance special.
All performances are customized for clients. Adult contemporary, smooth jazz, big band, swing, blues, latin/percussive,
and great dance music are available as well as our recent Broadway & Movie tune set, a real treat for all ages.
The live 3-piece version of this show features Chicago Guitarist Glenn Moore who brings another beautiful element to the writing and performance. His live tracks are on "Rumba Cha The Night Away" and "Falling" CD Romance Express

BRANDY NIGHT - Singer/Songwriter and entertainer in the greater Chicago area and Midwest since her teens. She has produced many original music shows in the Chicago area since the 1980's and continues today with Romance Express. Fans will recall Brandy With Ice, Griff featuring Brandy, and show band performances in Mickey & The Memories. As quoted the Illinois Entertainer "Her powerful, emotive voice dominates" with a motivating stage presence and energy all her own. Creative character voice-over credits include Playboy's pinball machine "The Grotto" and other Konami and Data East interactive video and arcade games. A gifted lyricist and songwriter since childhood, her compositions have been used by Bristol Meyers and others with a need to customize their message. She shares her experience as teacher of voice and music performance . Musical Theatre (Jesus Christ Superstar, 1996). She plays piano and composes lyrics for all SLR music.
THOMAS STEINHAUER - Trained at the American Conservatory of Music, Thomas has performed in the metro Chicago area and around the world. He is a well-established music instructor who developed his own music theory lessons. As arranger for Romance Express, he composes and performs the most delicate and flavorful arrangements with the energy of fire...with endless expressions.
